Maria\u201d in Ia\u0219i<\/strong> provides pediatric medical care for the city and county of Ia\u0219i, and for <strong>other 7 counties in Moldova region<\/strong>. The onco-hematologic ward has 45 beds for children with cancer from the region.<\/p>\n<p>With the support of our partner ERG, we purchased\u00a0state-of-the-art equipment for this medical unit to enable\u00a0sick children to benefit from modern treatments and personalized care.<\/p>\n<p>The equipment includes a high-performance ultrasound necessary to monitor the adverse effects of chemotherapy, especially cardiac ones. It is the first time that the department has had such an ultrasound machine.
