“My story began in 2013 when my son, then 4 years old, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. That was when I faced the big C, something no parent wants to hear about. Beginning that year, life introduced me only to good, beautifully hearted people. This is how I met Alina, the founder of Dăruiește Aripi. I joined the team in Bucharest in September 2022 for the project on home care treatments; I know how important it is for the child and the parents to stay within the comfort of their homes, reassured that a nurse would visit them and perform the much-needed medical services. I hope to offer parents a positive approach during such a difficult time in their lives.”
