What We Do

Dăruiește Aripi Association is a charity established in 2013, certified by the Romanian Government with the status of Public Service Health Provider.

Our mission is to contribute to the increase of the survival rates and quality of life for ALL children with cancer in Romania.

We are strategic partners for the Romanian Society of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology , members of  St. Jude Global Alliance and  Childhood Cancer International. Together we develop innovative projects with our hearts set on bringing childhood back to the young patients.

To date, we have implemented 54 projects worth 8 million USD, funded entirely from donations. We have been involved in crisis management, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

• The Safety Net – local proximity network in Romania, based on levels of competence

• Pediatric Oncology Outreach Service 
• The Pediatric Onco-Hematology Unit in Constanța – first out-patient unit in Romania
• The 1st sociological research study “The Needs of Parents and Children with Cancer” (Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca)
