Over 700,000 locals from Constanta County, as well as thousands of tourists transiting the area in the summer, benefit from the services of the Constanta County Hospital Emergency Room, the only emergency hospital in the county. This unit is extremely busy throughout the year and, although partially renovated only ten years ago, the flooring already needs to be replaced.
In April of 2022, the flooring in the reception area of the Emergency room was very damaged, due to intense usage. The flooring that connects the emergency room to the rest of the hospital units has never been renovated.
We have rehabilitated this Emergency Unit in order for the patients to benefit from better conditions. This task was accomplished in record time, since due to the specificity of the unit, its activity cannot be stopped during the installation of the flooring.
The construction works included replacing the base layer from under the flooring, self leveling cement compound with fast chemical drying and installing an antibacterial PVC flooring. All materials used are specific to usage in medical areas, with intense traffic and allow for professional cleaning and disinfection.
